Shady Overlander was founded in 2023 by 3 friends with a shared passion for camping, adventure and product development.

Hailing from South Africa, Australia and the USA, elements from all 3 overlanding locations and product experiences resulted in the formation of what will become the new benchmark brand in Overlanding Awnings and Roof Top Tents.

With a strong focus on strength, shade coverage, water proofing and ease of set up and pack down, we have set out to not just be "another copy/paste awning brand. But rather one that we are proud to call our own, and for our customers to proudly declare themselves as Shady Overlanders.
